The testing of nutritional value is one of the basic obligations of food producers according to Regulation No 1169/2011 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on the provision of food information to consumers.
Pursuant to this Regulation, from 13 December 2016, it is mandatory to provide information on food packaging on parameters such as:
