Determination of the cosmetic mass technological parameters, such as density, pH, viscosity, dry matter and many others, is the basis for developing a technical specification. Apart from that it is a key element in verification of the cosmetic formulation stability.
Physicochemical tests are the basis for determining the properties of cosmetics as well as their stability / compatibility with the packaging under various conditions.
ANALYSIS:
pH, density, viscosity, dry matter, chlorides, dry organic matter, acid value, peroxide value, content of formaldehyde, preservatives i.a. parabens, phenoxyethanol, benzoic acid, sorbic acid;
net weight and volume, dimensions (lenght, width, height, diameter, thickness);
determination of superabsorbent retention and absorbency in hygiene products;
determination of total absorption, rewet and filling time of the absorbent insert in disposable diapers;

determination of the content of anionic/cationic active substances;
determination of the content of nonionic active substances;

content of heavy metals i.a. As, Cd, Pb, Hg, Cr, Ni, Sb and many others.
